Thomasville On Stage And Company presents Alice in Wonderland, Jr. as the summer musical production of this season. Rehearsals have been underway for several weeks and it is believed by many involved with the production that the young people in this show are the best yet to be seen on the TOSAC stage. Audiences may recognize a number of the performers who are becoming veterans of the Storefront Theater stage.
Once again there are two casts for the summer presentation. As director Pat Orr stated at auditions, “There are so many talented children in our area it is just too hard to narrow it down to a few.” Alice in Wonderland, Jr. promises to be filled with lively music, dancing and action as audiences adventure down the rabbit hole with Alice. Once there she will meet a grand assortment of whimsical characters coming from the imagination of the author Lewis Carroll. Great adventures are to be had by all while in Wonderland, which include a Tea Party at the Mad Hatter’s and a strange game of croquette with the Queen of Hearts.
There will be eight opportunities to see the casts in action. Please note that there are matinees on both Saturdays of this run.
