UPDATE: 09/26/22 – DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS RE: BYLAWS & OPEN BOARD SEAT NOMINATIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED FOR 2 WEEKS TO OCTOBER 14, 2022. THE OPEN BOARD MEETING FOR DISCUSSION AS NOTED BELOW WILL NOW BE HELD ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2022 AT 6:30 PM AT TOSAC.
On July 30, 2022 the Board of Directors of Thomasville On Stage, And Company, Inc., met at its annual summer retreat, and voted to approve formal bylaws which are available for public display here:
The Board is now soliciting input, suggestions, proposals for amendments, additions, or deletions to these bylaws from TOSAC patrons. All suggestions/input must be submitted IN WRITING on or before September 30, 2022 New Date: October 14, 2022, by First Class US Mail addressed to: TOSAC, P.O. Box 6339, Thomasville, Georgia 31758. All submissions post-marked on or before September 30, 2022, will be considered.
The Board will conduct an open, public meeting on October 10, 2022 New Date: November 14, 2022 beginning at 6:30 PM at the theater at 117 S. Broad Street, Thomasville, Georgia 31792, at which time all written submissions will be up for discussion with the Board, and all patrons present, with all patrons desiring to be heard being given reasonable time to present their opinions.
Additionally, The TOSAC Board will be taking nominations from TOSAC patrons to fill the existing vacancy on the Board. All nominations must be submitted IN WRITING on or before September 30, 2022 New Date: October 14, 2022, by First Class US Mail addressed to: TOSAC, P.O. Box 6339, Thomasville, Georgia 31758. All submissions post-marked on or before September 30, 2022, will be considered. The existing vacancy will be filled by Board vote on October 10, 2022, at the conclusion of discussion regarding the bylaws in closed session.
We are in our patronage drive period and would encourage all patrons to renew their patronage for the 2022-2023 theater season, which officially opened on August 1, 2022, to coincide with the TOSAC fiscal year.
