Honk! The Musical is based on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Ugly Duckling.
Auditions will be held Sat. Nov 7, from 10 am – noon, and Tues. Nov. 10 from 6 – 9 pm. Callbacks/additional auditions TBA. Be prepared for a cold reading and song audition.
Synopsis: Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother’s protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on adventure of self discovery all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out being different is not a bad thing to be.
Cast size: 20+ roles for males & females of all ages
Casting adults & children, adults (17+) will be given preference for lead roles.
