TOSAC is proud to be hosting our second theatre festival, TOSAC Fest 2017 Encore, in January! TOSAC Fest is featuring two local playwrights, Joana Russell and Greg Rabidoux.
Auditions for Rabidoux’s play, “The Diva and the Daffodil Drama Dolls” will be October 22nd from 3:00-5:00pm.
Synopsis: This is the story of a faded screen and star legend who is cast in a low budget zombie movie in a small town in Georgia and as fate has it must direct the town’s drama team to a victory to stay out of jail!
Auditions will consist of reading lines from the play script and possibly doing your best dance/lip-synch to music. All ages and genders are welcome though we especially need younger actors, girls and boys between about 10-14.
This is a comedy not a musical but there are some fun, dance sequences in the play!
This show will have one weekend of performances, Friday the 20th at 8pm, Saturday the 21st at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday the 22nd at 2pm.
Auditions for Russell’s play, “The Basket Club” will be October 29th from 3:00-5:00pm.
Synopsis: Dash believes that he is the greatest detective alive, but when a new crime surfaces, his ability to solve it, and his sanity, are questioned.
Auditions will consist of reading selected portions of the script. Roles are for one teenage female, and 12 adults (20s-60s), male and female.
This show will have one weekend of performances and will be the last weekend of January; Friday the 27th at 8pm, Saturday the 28th at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday the 29th at 2pm.
